Mugabe is Africa's oldest head of state. His grip of power has faltered since he first got to power in 1980. So far, he has long suppressed oppositions to his government. Although in 2008, he allowed a power sharing deal with his political rival Morgan Tsvangirai in order to end months of unrest faced in the country.
A very interesting post on the internet says: Africa is so young, why are its leaders so old?
Just saying...flips weave and walks away.
